EEC Building Electrification Roadmap project

The Energy Efficiency Council and Property Council of Australia have recently commenced a project to develop a roadmap for the electrification of commercial buildings.

The roadmap will identify the practical actions necessary to rapidly scale up the effort to retrofit commercial buildings and apartments to be both efficient and all-electric, with a focus on identifying the barriers and opportunities in particular commercial building types.

The roadmap aims to set out the actionable steps available to governments and industry to accelerate the efficient electrification of Australia’s commercial building stock.
